Richard Peri, experienced NZSL tutor and turi community leader from Te Roopu Waiora, a kaupapa Maori organisation founded and entirely governed by whānau hauā.    

Kaupapa?
·      Introduce and promote sign language/Te Reo Turi
·      Reduce barriers for whānau turi
·      Utilise the skills of whānau hauā
·      Expand the reach and communication skills of Hauora services
