Zero Tolerance Policy on Abuse and Neglect
  • Zero Tolerance Policy on Abuse and Neglect

  • Future Generation maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for any actions or behaviors by employees that constitute abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to, poor judgment or failure to maintain self-control when interacting with children. Any form of physical or verbal harm directed toward a child in our care is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of employment. In addition to termination, any suspected abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation will be reported to the New Jersey Office of Licensing and local law enforcement authorities. If an employee witnesses or suspects another employee engaging in behavior that could be harmful or abusive toward a child, they are required to report it immediately to a member of the Future Generation administrative team. Failure to report such concerns will also result in immediate termination of employment. The safety and well-being of the children in our care are our highest priority. This policy applies to all employees, regardless of role, tenure, or past performance.
