  • ORCHARD RIDGE CLUB/COMMITTEE OVERVIEW

    The goal for the Garden Club is to come together with neighbors and fellow gardeners to share interests, and exchange and expand knowledge, or take a up a new hobby!

    Involvement may include, but is not limited to:

    • Assist in the planning of desired educational events and activities.
    • Occasional Community Garden planting and plant maintenance.
    • Assist in gaining interest for new members and promoting events.
    • Collaborate with Management Agent on community requests.

    The goal for the Kid’s Garden Club is to provide an educational and engaging experience for our younger gardeners!

    (Parental) Involvement may include, but is not limited to:

    • Assist in the planning of desired educational events and activities.
    • Coordinating snack signups for meeting/event days.
    • Assist in gaining interest for new members and promoting events.
    • Collaborate with Management Agent on community requests.

    Social/Lifestyle Committee Overview

    The goal for the Social/Lifestyle Committee is to foster a cohesive community by working to organize fun, safe, and interesting events so neighbors can meet and socialize with each other. The Committee will consist of 3-5 members (additional volunteers permitted), including 1 Chairperson who will be the primary contact. The Social/Lifestyle Committee is not authorized to financially or legally obligate the HOA (i.e. contract for services, hire contractors, borrow money, purchase equipment and supplies) unless previously approved in the Annual Plan and Budget for the Committee, or otherwise by the BOD.

  • Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Brainstorm ideas for association events.
    • Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of approved events.
    • Ensure that all demographics of residents are considered when planning events.
    • Create and send event details to the Management Agent for advertising/disbursement to residents.
    • Work to create an estimated cost for each event and create an annual event plan/budget to be approved by the Board of Directors.
    • Meet as needed for planning and review.
