    Puppy Adoption Application

    Westview Dalmatians
  • Thank you for considering adoption through Westview Dalmatians!  Dogs/puppies are fun, loving, playful, and also a lot of work. Before you start this application, please ensure you can fully commit to the care of the dog/puppy before you decide to adopt one.

If you know you are ready to be a Paw Parent, please complete this application for adoption form as thoroughly as possible. The form can take up to 20-30 minutes to complete. Once submitted, someone from our team will follow-up with you soon.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

Completing this application is the first step to acquiring a puppy from Westview Dalmatians, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. The breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

I will review applications in the order they are received. I will notify you if your home is a good fit for one of our puppies. We do not accept deposits.

HOW THE CHOOSING PROCESS GOES: Our puppies are not chosen on a first come, first served basis. We take the information from your application, the discussions we have, and the information from the Volhard puppy aptitude test and we match the puppy we think best suits your family. My goal is to send them to homes they will fit in forever, and won’t ever need to be returned.

WHEN PUPPY GOES HOME: The puppies will be ready to go to their furever homes at 8-9 weeks. We cannot hold puppies for extended times unless it’s an emergency. If you have a trip or vacation planned that conflicts with your puppy coming home, please remember that puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received all their vaccinations.

CONTRACT POLICY: We will not place any puppy without a signed contract. We are happy to go over any part of the contract if you have any questions.

REGISTRATION: All Westview puppies are registered with The American Kennel Club. Please start thinking of a registered name as well as a call name for your puppy so we can register them right away. All pet puppies will be sold on limited registration. All show dogs will be sold on a co-ownership with me.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you!

(Note: We reserve the right to refuse any adoption that we feel will not suit the dog’s/puppy’s requirements.)
