3-5yr olds- 10:00AM-12:15PM (AM Session)
6-8yr olds- 9:30AM-12:30PM (AM Session) & 1-4PM (PM Session)
9-13yr olds- 9:30AM-12:30PM (AM Session) & 1-4PM (PM Session)

Classes begin Wednesday, June 18th and end on Thursday, July 25th (calendar will be emailed to those who have registered)

Class Rules:

• Timings for students ages 3-5yrs will be 10:00AM to 12:15PM.
• 3-5yr olds can be dropped off only if potty trained. For children that are not potty trained, parents will need to be present on premises during the entire duration of the program.
• Please come dressed in Islamic/modest clothing.
• Students 6yrs+ must bring their own mushaf.
• Please make sure your child has had a good breakfast/lunch.
• No eating during the class. Students must carry a labelled water bottle. 
• Snack/Break will be at 10:30AM for AM session and 2:30PM for PM session. Please pack a healthy snack for your child.
• If your child has any allergies or medical conditions, please let us know in the form below.
• We will create a WhatsApp group using the numbers submitted in the form for communication. You will receive an email with class details and link to join the WhatsApp group before the class begins.

 
About the Program:
This Summer, let’s strengthen our children's faith! We will focus on a new topic every week to strengthen our faith and Muslim identity. Along with Qur'an, Islamic studies and art+crafts, this program will also focus on building daily practical life skills like first aid, emotional intelligence, leadership, entrepreneurship, nutrition & fitness, sewing etc. Students will also be memorizing duas. This program is designed to help children form a strong Muslim identity and character and help them develop the love of our deen. We will have a daily Qur'an time where the students can review the previous Surahs memorized and work on memorizing new Surahs. Students will be divided based on ages for activities and crafts. 

FAQs:

Q: What curriculum are you following?
A: We follow our own curriculum that is designed by our leads with over 7yrs of experience. Our team consists of certified teachers & Aalimahs.

Q: How long is the Quran portion of the program?
A: Approximately 30-45mins.

Q: Will the Quran portion be based on my child's ability?
A: Yes, each child will be assessed and he/she will progress based on his/her level. The batch will be divided into groups based on their level.

Q: Will there be time for Quran memorization?
A:  Yes, the Qur'an time will include review of previously memorized surahs, and time for memorizing new surahs.  Each section will be given 15-2O minutes.

Q: What will be the teacher to student ratio?
A: About 6-8 students will be assigned per teacher.

Q: Will I have to send my child with a mushaf?
A: Yes, please send your child with his/her own mushaf.  Any children that are required to work on the Qaidah will be provided the material onsite.

Q: What life skills will be taught?
A: Some of the skills that will be taught are- first aid, sewing, conflict resolution, leadership, entepreneurship, critical thinking, creative writing, fitness & nutrition, yoga and more.

Q: What art/crafts will be taught?
A: Our art & craft curriculum is based on the child's age. A few topics that will be covered are: canvas painting with acrylics, upcycled crafts, wooden signs, and many more.

Q: Will 3-5yr olds have same timings?
A: 3-5yr olds will have a separate class. Timings are 10:00AM to 12:15PM

Q: Will my child have to be potty trained?
A: Yes, your child will have to be potty trained to be dropped off. If they are not potty trained yet, the mother is required to be on the premises during the entire duration of the program.

Q: Will the 3-5yr olds learn?
A: This age group will be learning the arabic letters, short daily duas and short Surahs from the Qur'an. If your child is 5yrs old and knows their letter, you may register them with the older age group.
