MdVLA has an agreement with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to help financially under-resourced inventors apply for patents by arranging free patent attorney and/or patent agent time. Our program serves artists and inventors in Maryland.

Please complete the following application so that our team can review your idea and qualifications. Once your application is accepted, we will contact you to detail the next steps. These next steps may include an intake conversation, patentability search, signing of a Non-disclosure form, and a request to one of our volunteer attorneys/agents for their assistance.
