Elf Jr. Audition Form (Age 5-17)

Video auditions will ONLY be accepted until October 10, 2026. In person auditions are preferred, however, if you have a conflict, please submit a self-tape audition via email (with slate or introduction - please see website for details) no later than October 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM. No submissions following October 10th at 11:59 PM will be considered. You will be notified whether or not you have a callback on October 14th, once all auditions are complete. 

Self tapes should be emailed to bethany@stagelocallebanon.com and should child's name. Registration forms must be submitted before self tape submission. Incomplete packages will not be considered for casting. 

Please note, callbacks will be invite only, in person only, on October 15, 2026.

 

By signing below, I give permission for my child to audition for Stage Local's production of Elf Jr.

I understand and acknowledge the following:

AUDITION & CASTING
I understand that Elf Jr. is an audition-based production. Participation in the audition process does not guarantee that my child will be cast in the production, and not every child who auditions will necessarily receive a role.

I understand that casting decisions are made by the Stage Local production and casting team based on the needs of the production. Roles may take into consideration factors including, but not limited to, vocal ability, acting, movement, age, chemistry, availability, and the overall needs of the cast.

I understand that callbacks are by invitation only and that receiving—or not receiving—a callback does not by itself indicate a final casting decision.

I understand that parents/guardians, auditioners, or others acting on an auditioner's behalf may not contact members of the directing, production, or casting team for the purpose of advocating for, lobbying for, or pressuring the team regarding a particular role or casting decision. Doing so may result in the auditioner's immediate removal from consideration or, if already cast, removal from the production.

This policy does not prohibit parents/guardians from contacting Stage Local with legitimate questions regarding scheduling, accessibility, accommodations, conflicts, safety, or other administrative matters.

PARENT/GUARDIAN AUDITION POLICY
I understand that parents and guardians are not permitted inside the audition room during my child's initial audition. I give permission for my child to participate in the audition independently under the supervision of Stage Local staff and the audition team.

PRODUCTION COMMITMENT
I have reviewed the published audition information, including the anticipated rehearsal and performance schedule, and understand the commitment associated with accepting a role in Elf Jr.

If my child is offered and accepts a role, I understand that attendance and adherence to Stage Local's rehearsal and production policies will be expected.

COSTUME FEE
I understand that there is a $75 costume fee per child who is cast in the production.

I understand that financial assistance is available, and families who need assistance may contact Stage Local privately.

PARENT/GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing below, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child listed above, that I give permission for my child to audition for Elf Jr., and that I have read and understand the audition and casting policies stated above.
