    Offers of places at Malahide-Portmarnock Educate Together Secondary School (ETSS) will be based solely on the information supplied.

    Submission of an application form is not a guarantee of a place at Malahide-Portmarnock ETSS.  Applications will be reviewed in strict accordance with our Admissions Policy.  

    • Places will be offered in order of priority in accordance with the categories outlines in our Admissions Policy.
    • You must provide 2 x current bills (within the past 3 months) as proof of your current residential address. Only household utility bills (from 2 DIFFERENT providers) will be accepted - gas, electric, waste, home broadband, home insurance, mortgage statement or Local Property Tax. These are available to download from your provider through your online account when you are logged in
    • Your child's current school must complete the transfer letter which is available here
    • If you have difficulty providing the above documentation due to you renting a house, please provide a letter from a governmental agency such as child benefit or revenue along with a typed and signed rental agreement from your landlord. (Handwritten agreements are note accepted)  

    NO bank correspondance (bills,statements or otherwise accepted), mobile phone bills or other documents can be accepted as they do not prove residence at your address.

    Parents/Guardians must accept a place offer by submitting enrolment documentation requested within 14 calendar days of the date on the offer email or the offer will be forfeited.

    All requested support documentation will be required to complete enrolment.  Failure to do so will result in your child's place being forfeited.

    NB. Following submission of this form and the accompanying documents, you will be directed to an acknowledgement page. You will also receive an email receipt to the email address entered on the form. This email address will be our primary contact with you.

    Offers of places, if available, will be issued by email from 'studentapplications@mpetss.ie' in accordance with the criteria set out in our  Admissions Policy.  Please ensure you check your Spam / Promotions folder for our email in case it goes there.  We cannot be held responsible for missed correspondance by email.

    Your Data :

    The information provided by you will be treated confidentially and processed in line with the school’s Admission Policy.
    Any personal data provided on this form will be used to (i) identify applicants (ii) process an application in line with the school’s admissions policy (iii) communicate with parents/guardians in respect of an application (iv) notify parents/guardians of the outcome of an application.
    The information will be retained for an appropriate period thereafter to address any potential queries arising from the application process or added to the student’s school file in the case of successful applicants.


    In accordance with section 66(6) of the Education Act 1998, as amended, personal data relating to applications for admission may be shared with the board of management of another school or the patron in order to facilitate the efficient admission of students. This information may include the date on which an application was received by the school, the date on which an offer was made and the date on which an offer was accepted. Personal information concerning applicants may also be shared, including their name, address, date of birth and PPS number.

  • We must advise that places in our Autism Classes are currently full. If you wish to make an application for a place should it arise, you must submit paperwork with this online application to the school. 

    To be eligible. students must meet the following criteria from the National Council of Special Education:

    1. Have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism meeting DSM5 criteria for Autism. This normally comes from a Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Multidisciplinary Team of which one of these professionals is a part.

    2.  A recommendation for an ASD Class at Post Primary level

    3.  A statement of Complex needs.

     • Reports should be no more than 2 yrs old as these will give the most up to date needs of each child.

    • Requirements: Reports should stipulate the complex needs

    All applications for enrolment in the ASD class will be considered in accordance with the MPETSS Admissions Policy
