    • Terms of Enrollment

We look forward to working in partnership with all of our parents and students to provide a high quality Jewish education in a safe and nurturing environment. In consideration for enrolling your children in the Kesher Center for Jewish Learning, you agree to the following terms, which may not be altered except by written permission of the Directors:

      1. I give permission for my child(ren) to engage in the normal activities of the school, including any programs and events that occur at the synagogue or off campus, such as special Shabbat services, parties, and events. These activities include, but are not limited to, classroom learning, elective classes, physical recreation and games, cooking, eating, and arts and crafts.

      2. I will receive a special form for any activity, such as a field trip, that takes place away from the synagogue, and I understand that if I do not return the form my child will not be allowed to participate in the activity.

      3. I agree on behalf of me and my child(ren) to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Kesher Center for Jewish Learning, including all employees and volunteers, from any liability arising out of participation in school and congregational activities that take place at the synagogue and any other special activities that I have approved, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

      4. I will receive a copy of the Kesher Parent Handbook, and if applicable the B'nei Mitzvah Handbook. Additional copies may be obtained from the Kesher Diretors at any time. I agree that my child(ren) and I will abide by the rules contained in the Kesher Parent Handbook.

      5. I agree to pay tuition as set forth in this form.

      6. I agree to make my best effort to have my child(ren) attend all Kesher sessions, attend with my child(ren) on Family Days, and support the school through approximately 5 hours of volunteering if and when possible.
If my child(ren) will be absent from a Kesher class, or our family is unable to attend a Family Day, I will notify the Kesher Directors.

      Dear Kesher Parents,

We are thrilled that your children will be part of Kesher this year! CBI is proud to offer such a meaningful and enriching Jewish educational experience, and we're excited to share this journey with your family.

As we prepare for the year ahead, we're being transparent: We need your help.

In order for Kesher to succeed, we are inviting parents to take an active role in our school community. Kesher relies on the support and involvement of our families in order to meet our goals. Your participation sends a powerful message to our students: that Kesher, and their Jewish education, are a valued part of your family's life.

We ask that each family donate at least 5 volunteer hours with Kesher per year. There are many opportunities to volunteer, depending on your interests and talents. Some are time specific, others can be done whenever convenient. Read below what volunteer opportunities might be the best fit for your family. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our Kesher Directors.
