What is Grease Trap?
Normally, Grease Trap is a whimsical, greasy little rave thrown deep in the swampy forest up north.
This time, we’re dragging the whole slippery operation into downtown Toronto for one filthy little one-off.
Expect heavy bass, interesting mixes, full rave energy, and your favourite Port Perry DJs greasing the decks all night.
Date: Saturday August 8th
Time: The pre-party at the venue will be from 5:00–7:00 p.m. for anyone ready to settle in for the long haul (all are welcome to join the set up crew earlier than 5).
The concert officially starts at 7:00pm and ends at 11:00pm. Yes, it starts and ends early, partly due to noise bylaw restrictions, and partly because we are getting older and midnight now feels like 3 a.m.
Post-party (11:00 – late) You’re welcome to hang out afterward until we get kicked out.
Outfit: dressing up is encouraged but not mandatory, the theme is rave jungle. Some inspo ideas include camo, neon, rave costume etc.
What to expect: Greasy Port Perry DJs spinning the greasiest of beats. Concert-level music with the comfort of your greasy friends. Come ready to dance like nobody’s watching and get a little silly.
