Stubborn Survivors Reclamation Wall Submission
  • Stubborn Survivors Reclamation Wall Submission

  • The Stubborn Survivors Reclamation Wall is a celebration of the power and beauty of telling your story of living with chronic suicidality. In partnership with THRIVE Lifeline, our mission is to depathologize suicidality, especially the chronic suicide experiences of our multiply marginalized community members. Too many have been silenced, too many incarcerated, too many lost. No more. This wall reclaims stolen stories, shares the realities of non-consensual suicide interventions, and what it means to be a Stubborn Survivor. If you would like to submit your narrative for the chance to be added to this Reclamation Wall, we invite images (graphic art, drawings, photos, etc), quotes, favorite playlists, original videos or audio (2 minutes or less), poetry or other written narratives (300 words or less). We recognize that we may receive a large number of submissions. We reserve the right to choose submissions that will be displayed and the length of time that they will be displayed for this campaign.

By submitting to the Stubborn Survivors Reclamation Wall Campaign, you are recognizing that this material will be shared with multiply marginalized complex trauma survivors. We acknowledge content notices around chronic suicidality and associated harms inflicted upon and lived through by our community members. You agree to refrain from specific details of suicide or self harm methods, or graphic trauma details that may re-activate others’ trauma, and to focus the artwork you share with the public on the impacts of your experiences.
