Please review the following guidelines before submitting your application.

By applying to vend at an event hosted by Marble Springs State Historic Site, you’re helping us create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all our guests. The notes below are meant to help things run smoothly for everyone involved.

    1. Staying for the Whole Event
We ask that all vendors remain set up and open for the full duration of the event. Closing up early or leaving before the event ends can affect the flow and atmosphere of the day.

    2. Setup, Parking, and Teardown

You’ll receive a specific arrival time before the event.
When you arrive, please unload quickly and move your vehicle to the vendor parking area before you begin setting up your booth.
No booth setup should begin while a vehicle is still on the main grounds.
After the event, vehicles can only return to the site once the event has ended and staff gives the go-ahead. This helps keep things safe for visitors still on-site.

    3. What You’ll Need to Bring

You’re responsible for bringing your own 10'x10' canopy, tables, chairs, and display materials.
Tents should be properly weighted (we recommend at least 25 lbs per leg).
Stakes are not allowed unless you’ve gotten prior approval—we’re careful with the historic grounds.
Electricity is very limited and only available at certain events. If offered, it must be arranged in advance and confirmed with staff.

    4. Weather and Outdoor Conditions
Our events take place outdoors, rain or shine. Please come prepared for sun, rain, wind, insects, and uneven ground. If we need to adjust due to extreme weather or safety, we’ll be in touch with updates.

    5. Booth Content and Presentation
Marble Springs State Historic Site is a family-friendly, community-oriented space.
We ask that products, displays, and signage be appropriate for a general audience.
Please refrain from bringing any items that could reasonably be considered offensive or inappropriate for a public event. We appreciate your help in keeping the event welcoming for everyone.

    6. General Responsibility & Safety

Vendors are responsible for their own sales, taxes, and any necessary permits.
Food vendors should have proper health department approval.
Marble Springs State Historic Site is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury during the event, so please plan accordingly.
