Job Title: Volunteer
Location: Memphis, TN
Hours: Seasonal, for nationwide touring (must be able to travel 3 months at a time)
Compensation: $14.50/hr (travel expenses paid)

Job Summary
The Lead Volunteer plays a key leadership role in coordinating, guiding, and supporting a team of volunteers. This position ensures that all volunteers are informed, motivated, and effectively contributing to the success of the program or event.

Responsibilities
• Act as the main point of contact for volunteers during shifts or events
• Assist with volunteer onboarding, training, and orientation
• Provide guidance and support to team members during activities
• Monitor volunteer attendance and performance
• Communicate updates, schedules, and expectations clearly and promptly
• Help resolve minor conflicts or escalate issues when necessary
• Report to and collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator or Program Manager
• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Promote a positive and inclusive team environment
Qualifications and Skills
• Previous volunteer or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and proactive
• Ability to motivate and support others
• Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems
• Passion for the mission of the organization
Experience:
1+ years of leadership experience
Skills:
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
