Tutoring Contract

Fees shall be calculated according to the package selected.  Fees may be adjusted from time to time and shall become effective after having given the student 7 days written notice.

Payments are payable before each lesson or at the end of each month for the upcoming month's package lessons upon receiving an invoice. No 30 day accounts. Payment are settled with a proof of payment or reflection in the bank.

Single lessons will be sheduled as per available time. The montly package lessons will be scheduled in advance on fixed times for each week. Available times will be discussed between the tutor and the student.

Fees are calculated according to the scheduled time agreed upon by the tutor and student. No adjustment to fees shall be made for time due to late arrival by the student or by early termination of lesson by the student. The tutor agrees to wait 15 minutes from the time of the scheduled lesson for the student's arrival before considering that lesson cancelled and therefore subject to the full payment of the lesson. Sufficient notice of 24 hours cancelling a lesson, the lesson must be rescheduled for a date within that same month, failure to do so by the student (as it is his or her own responsibility) the lesson will be discarded without refund.

If any connection difficulty should be experienced by the tutor or the student in the first 15 minutes of the lesson the lesson may be rescheduled within the same month with no additional costs. Any malfunction experienced on the student's side causing the lesson not to be completed will be evaluated by the tutor.

The tutor undertakes to do all preperation prior to lessons and to structure lessions in such a way as to optimize the time to the benefit of the student. The tutor shall keep confidential all information of the student. The tutor shall at no time be required or obliged to execute homework or assignment on behalf of the student. 

The student undertakes to assist the tutor in identifying problem areas in which the student needs specific tutoring. The student agrees to provide their own materials needed for each tutoring lesson if asked for by the tutor in at least 24 hours before the lesson. The student agrees that assignments or homework form an integral part of tutoring and undertakes to complete such work timeously.

The tutor makes no promises or warranties with regards to a student's performance as a result of any tutoring provided. 

This tutoring contract may be terminated by either party at any time by giving the other party 7 days prior written notice without any refund.

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Where the student is a legal minor, the parent/guardian shall enter into this tutoring contract on behalf of the student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the student.
