  • Frequently asked questions:

    • Depending on your cover and funding allocation, the course may be fully claimable through the NDIS if you are a self-managed participant or through your Plan Manager.
    • Provided you have the funding, this course can be claimed under your NDIS plan. 
    • Each course lasts the length of the school term and includes food consumed at the premises, take-home recipes, hands-on training by a qualified chef, and lots of fun.
    • We'll celebrate the last day of class with a lunch/dinner that participants prepare themselves. To celebrate their achievement, participants are encouraged to invite one of their nearest and dearest to join us.
    • Please wear enclosed shoes on the day. Everything else will be supplied.
    • Pick-up and drop-off service can be arranged upon request in advance.
    • Our quote includes a 10-week term. If your scheduled class falls on a public holiday and we are not running a session that day, your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
  • By completing this form, you are officially registering for our cooking classes.

    Our cooking sessions are $236.46 per class.

  • When you have booked into our cooking course, you will receive a confirmation letter to confirm your booking is secure!

    Once booked in, the participant or support person/business completing this form accepts that they are responsible for paying the full amount of the course fee even if the participant does not attend or complete the full course due to sickness, COVID-19 or personal reasons. To cancel your booked course (prior to commencement), a minimum notice of 5 days is required; otherwise, you will be charged in full.

    The course invoice will be issued upon course completion and must be settled within 7 days.

    If the invoice is not paid, you, as the client, agree that any legal expenses will be your responsibility. Late payment policy: After the initial payment deadline, a grace period of two weeks (equivalent to 10 business days) will be provided. After this period, a late fee of 10% (before tax) will be added to the overdue amount. The late fee will continue to accrue monthly until the outstanding balance is settled.

    To be eligible to participate in our cooking classes, you or the participant must be registered through the NDIS and have an NDIS plan. If your NDIS plan does not contain adequate funding, you may have to pay the outstanding amount personally.

    You must have sufficient NDIS funding allocated for activities such as the development of daily living and life skills and increased social community participation or equivalent. If you are under the age of 18, you consent to being under the guardianship of Sticky Fingers Kitchen while on-premises or while attending Sticky Fingers cooking classes. Sticky Fingers Kitchen is committed to ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and any other relevant legislation, applicable codes of practice and Australian standards as far as possible.

    Clients must wear closed-toe shoes while cooking to ensure safety. Non-compliance may result in restricted participation. Sticky Fingers Kitchen has developed and implemented a safety management plan and associated policies and procedures that set out safety arrangements and principles which are to be observed by its workers, contractors and students. Course students must take responsibility for their own health and safety while at work, ensuring that their actions or oversights do not negatively impact the health and safety of others.

    Students must comply, so far as reasonably able, with any reasonable instructions and cooperate with any reasonable Sticky Fingers Kitchen policy and procedure related to workplace safety. Aggressive and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from Cooking Classes and/or support from additional carers.

    If you have opted to be transported by Sticky Fingers Kitchen and need to cancel, 4 hours notice before pick-up time will be required. Failing to cancel transport in less than four hours will result in a full charge. While on-premise at Sticky Fingers Kitchen, or while attending the Sticky Fingers cooking classes and being transported by Sticky Fingers Kitchen transport, you agree to be under guardianship Sticky Fingers Kitchen.

    The competency and supervision requirements of students will undergo regular assessments to ensure their safety.
