We are seeking a motivated and organized Office Assistant/Project Manager to help manage a variety of roofing and building restoration projects throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. This is a dynamic role that combines on-site coordination with office-based project and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations on multiple job sites, working directly with labor teams and subcontractors.
- Provide written and verbal communication to crews and subcontractors and report progress to the owner.
- Update and manage project schedules and budgets alongside the owner.
- Communicate with clients and homeowners via phone and email for status updates.
- Assist with estimating, preparing proposals, change orders, and other project documentation.
- Work with office staff to ensure smooth coordination and invoicing.
- Purchase and coordinate delivery of materials from local supply companies.
- Transition between field and office work as needed.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with construction terminology, methods, and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office tools.
- Comfortable working with lumberyards, roofing/siding suppliers, and coordinating deliveries.
- Ability to lift and move moderately heavy materials when needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
