Call for Proposals for Workshop Presentations
NYSCAA is seeking proposals for workshop presentations that focus on developing the knowledge, expertise, and capacity needed by Community Action Agency (CAA) staff for an in-person conference to be held October 7-10, 2025, at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, Syracuse, NY.

Preference will be given to interactive presentations, including strategies to engage the audience and leave participants with new skills and knowledge they can immediately put to use with their customers.

Evaluation Criteria and Notification of Acceptance
NYSCAA’s Membership Development Committee will review all Call for Proposals for Workshop Presentations.

Criteria for evaluation of proposals are as follows:
-Practical applications to Community Action
-Innovation and originality of the concept, topic, or strategy
-Clarity, depth, and specificity of proposal
-Timeliness of subject matter
-Engagement of session participants
-Presenter qualifications
