Welcome to the Summer Discovery Program, designed for curious and motivated 8 through 11-year-olds ready to grow academically and explore real-world skills. Hosted by Equity Alliance of Michigan, this 6-week summer experience blends Math and ELA instruction with exciting entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and STEM enrichment.

Participants will build confidence, learn practical skills, and connect with peers in a supportive, engaging environment. Join us for a summer of growth, discovery, and fun!

Section 4: Availability & Commitment
Students who register for Summer Discovery programming must commit to attending programming throughout the summer. Summer Discovery is not a drop-in program, and it's important for students to attend daily to receive the full benefits of the program. Will your student be available to attend at least 70% of the summer program days?
Example: If there are 20 total days, you must attend 14 days or more. If there are 25 total days, you must attend 18 days or more.

To further allow us to assess program-related success and challenges, you may be invited to participate in an optional focus group with researchers from MGT this summer. If you are interested in being contacted to participate, please indicate as much below.
Along with assesments, your child will be asked to complete a pre- and post-survey during the program so that we can evaluate any program-related sucess and challenges this year in order to continue to improve Summer Discovery to best serve all students and families. No further action is required to provide consent for your child to participate.
