Strict cash handling procedures should be followed at all times by all coaches/Concession Stand Team Managers so that cash they are given care and control is safeguarded from loss.
Coaches/Concession Stand Team Managers are responsible for paying umpires the correct amount at the end of each game and have the verification sheet initialed by both the umpires and Coach/Concession Stand Team Managers.
Concession Stand Team Managers must ensure they do not leave cash under their control open to misappropriation by others.
Theft of cash or other property is a criminal offense, and the Whitehall Area Youth Association reserves the right to report any theft to the police.
The Concession Stand Team Manager will be required to repay any misappropriated amounts.
