Who: PreK - 4th grade (approximately 4-11 years). Children younger or older are also welcome to participate, but programming will be best suited for this age range. This is NOT a drop-off program; a guardian is expected to stay and supervise the participant.
What: Dance and song, story, and an activity! Our theme is "Full STEAM ahead!" And will incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics!
When: Weekly on Tuesdays at 10:00 am from June 10 to July 29. A weekly schedule with activities will be posted at the library and on the library facebook page.
Where: We will be meeting at Eagle View Elementary. We will meet in the large gym or outdoors. The exact schedule will be emailed and posted on the library facebook page.
Fee: New this year, there is no cost to participate! Free-will donations are accepted at the library! Please make checks payable to the Pequot Lakes Community Library and include "Summer Reading Program" in the memo, or you can bring cash for the Summer Reading Program envelope that is available at the library during regular operating hours.
All donations go directly to programming costs, including materials and fees or honorariums for outside guest speakers. This is a program run exclusively by volunteers.
