This award seeks to recognise a club for a project or initiative undertaken during
1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 and meets one or more of the following key focus areas.

• Youth Engagement (delivering bowls opportunities to schools or youth).
• Social Bowls Series (setting up a new Twilight League or implementing a significant improvement).
• Community Engagement (delivering bowls opportunities to a targeted group).
• Coach Development or Coaching Programme (either developing new coaches or delivering a coaching programme for your members or potential members).
• Umpire Development or Umpiring Programme.
• Marketing (a new initiative the club undertook through marketing, especially digital marketing – this could be renewing your website, starting a TikTok page etc).
• Other.

1. The Nominee is a club member or part of your club community who selflessly contributes their time and energy to making the club a wonderful place to be. Their contribution could include one of the following ways:
   - a serving administrator whose high organisational standards and skills elevate the club in its day-to-day activities.
   - a volunteer’s outstanding effort, contribution or achievement to the club, who has special traits and skills that have a positive impact on the club. This person should show initiative.
   - is held in high esteem by their peers, who is a positive influence and reflect the camaraderie and generosity of spirit that is prevalent in their club.
2. Demonstrates effective planning and implementation.
3. Works tirelessly to cultivate the club's culture and growth.
4. Demonstrates how to successfully implement change or introduce a new initiative.
5. Brings honour and respect to the game of bowls and is recognised in the wider bowls community and beyond.

1. Evidence of current and active strategic and operation plan.
2. Sound financial management.
3. A planned approach to retaining and growing participants and evidence of this success (especially in the 1-5 Year category).
4. The Club actively support the delivery of Auckland Centre Events.
5. Evidence the club is having growth or at least keeping coach and umpire numbers, and they are actively supporting their development.
6. Evidence of an outstanding contribution to the success, enjoyment, growth or profile of the game in your community.

3. Their understanding of values and respect for the game through a high standard of sportsmanship and fair play, both on and off the green.

2. Dedication and an individual performance plan approach to their growth which includes targets for the year and collaborating with a Coach.
3. Their understanding of values and respect to the game through a high standard of sportsmanship and fair play both on and off the green.
