• Youth Garden Grantmaking Scope and Impact Survey

    United States and U.S. Territories
  • The Youth Garden Grantmakers Community of Practice, a group of organizations* that offer grants to youth garden programs locally, regionally, or nationally, is collecting information about the grants given to youth garden programs in 2024.

It is our hope that this information will allow us to get a sense of the size of the youth garden movement, the impact we collectively create, and the funding needs that still exist.

Our group first conducted this survey in 2023 (for 2022), and we are gathering data again from organizations to 1) better understand the scope and impact of grant-making to youth gardens across the country and 2) compare our 2024 data with our 2022 data.

We’d be grateful if you could take 15 minutes to complete this survey.

All data will be anonymized. For more information and a list of organizations who completed the survey, visit this link. We will update the survey results as new submissions are received.

If you have any questions about this initiative, please reach out to grants@kidsgardening.org.

*The group consists of the following members: American Heart Association, Captain Planet Foundation, California Department of Food and Agriculture, DC Office of Superintendent, Earth Charter Indiana, KidsGardening, Numi Foundation, Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, and Whole Kids.
