Vendor Rules and Expectations
As a vendor or community partner with Care Complex, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a respectful and organized service:
1. Volunteer Requirements
- All vendors must bring at least 3-4 volunteers with them to serve.
- If you are distributing multiple items (e.g., food, clothing, hygiene kits), you must bring at least 5-6 volunteers to ensure efficiency.
- If you are unable to bring the required number of volunteers, please notify us ahead of time SO we can assist in finding additional help.
2. Self-Sufficiency in Preparation
- While we have some items available for use (e.g., tables, trash cans, etc, vendors are expected to bring everything they need to serve the community. This includes food, clothing, serving equipment, tables, and any other necessary items.
- All food must be prepped and ready to serve before arriving at CARE Complex. We are not a kitchen, SO vendors must prepare food before arriving and only distribute at the facility.
3. Arrival & Scheduling
- Please arrive ahead of time to ensure a smooth setup.
- Make sure you arrive 30minutes before your scheduled serving time ensure you are to start serving at your scheduled time.
- If you anticipate being late, notify us as soon as possible at the facility (702) 483-3055.
- If you are more than an hour late, you will need to reschedule for the following week to avoid disrupting the schedule of other vendors.
- If you need to cancel, please call the facility and cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
4. Prompt Exit After Service
- Once your service is complete and you have finished distributing your items, we ask that you exit the property promptly.
- Vendors are not permitted to remain on the property to socialize or "hang out" after their service has concluded.
5. Caretaker Assistance & Service Location
- Our caretakers are available to monitor the property, assist with line control, and help with setup and breakdown.
- Caretakers are NOT responsible for serving food or distributing items-please ensure you bring enough volunteers to serve your items.
- Vendors should set up in the designated area assigned by the CARE Complex team to ensure an organized flow of service.
6. Health & Safety Requirements
- Wearing gloves while serving is now mandatory. If you do not have gloves, caretakers will provide them for you and your team.
- *New Rule: Every vendor leading a serving event must have a current Food Handler's Card.
- If you do not have one, you must obtain one by March 28th and submit a copy to us.
- If you have consistent volunteers serving with you every week, we encourage them to obtain their Food Handler's Card as well.
- If you need financial assistance to obtain a Food Handler's Card, we are happy to assist.
- Failure to submit a valid Food Handler's Card by March 28th will result in temporary suspension from serving until a valid card is provided.

8. Cleanup & Storage Policy
- Please clean up after yourself when you are done serving.
- Take all your items with you after your serving session is complete.
- We do not store any items for vendors for the following week. Any items left behind will be considered a donation to CARE Complex and will be distributed accordingly.
9. Respect & Community Guidelines
- We ask that all vendors treat our caretakers, staff, and clients with respect.
- Follow all posted guidelines and work together to create a positive environment for those we serve
