Congratulations on Becoming an OCVN!

Friends of Warren County Park District, in conjunction with Warren County Park District, is proud to offer a unique scholarship opportunity aimed at encouraging volunteerism and professional development within the community.

Overview

Each calendar year, the scholarship program is designed to reward $100.00 to two deserving individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication and commitment to their certification and volunteer service. This initiative aims to foster a sense of community, encourage lifelong learning, and promote the value of giving back.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the OCVN Course Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Successfully complete and pass a total of 40 education hours at an approved location. (You will be asked to provide a copy of your certificate)
- Log a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer service within the Warren County Park District within one year of becoming certified. (You will be asked to provide a copy of hours logged which must be signed by a Naturalist or a Friends Board Member)
