HSSP Sidewalk Chalk Competition

Join us for a friendly sidewalk chalk competition during the Plein Air in the Park event on Saturday, June 28th from 10AM to noon! The first 35 participants to sign up will be assigned a 8ft x 8ft concrete square in our pavilion area, and any further participants will be assigned 3 regular sidewalk squares on the sidewalk. Bringing your own chalk is encouraged, but some will be provided. Only single groups of one participant are allowed. Classes will be judged by age divisions: 10 and younger, 11-17, and 18 and older. Designs will be judged by their design, creativity, relevancy to Hot Springs State Park or Wyoming, and overall execution. E-Waiver:
1. Participants must have parent/guardian present the entire time if 17 years old or younger.
2. Participants should be prepared for the weather -- please bring any sunscreen, shade, clothing, and food/water needed.
3. Participants are expected to attend this friendly competition with a positive attitude and respect for judges/other competitors.
4. There is assumed inherent risk with outdoor activities of which Wyoming State Parks is not liable for.
5. Photos/videos may be taken of myself or my child to be used for park promotion, such as on social media.
6. If you or your child are unable to participant after signing up, you will contact the event host (katie.singleton@wyo.gov) with proper notice.
