AUDITION INFORMATION

ACCEPTING LATE SUBMISSIONS

To ensure audition updates & materials reach performers in a timely manner, we ask that when completing the online submission form that performers contact details are included as the primary contact. Please still include agent contacts (if you have one) and we will make sure to include them in any discussions.

If you are auditioning for a principal role, or to be considered for a cover, please submit a video audition including a 16-bar cut of either a musical theatre or pop song, in the style of the show.

If you are auditioning for an ensemble track you will be required to dance first, including those with acrobatic ability or previous aerial and / or flying experience. You may submit your application without a video audition, and successful applicants will be supplied audition material from the show in preparation for an in-person vocal audition.

Successful applicants will be invited for an in-person audition.

PERFORMERS MUST BE BASED IN MELBOURNE AT THE TIME OF THE PRODUCTION, INCLUDING REHEARSALS, AT THIER OWN EXPENSE.

In-Person Auditions
Successful applications will be invited to audition in person. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible and fit your preferred availabilties.

Media Release & Confidentiality Agreement:

MEDIA RELEASE: I permit James Terry Collective PTY LTD to use my name and image in any aspect in relation and relevant to Tarzan The Stage Musical, and the company James Terry Collective PTY LTD. I understand that any process of this production may be filmed and photographed, and I give permission to use these recordings in all media including print, broadcast, radio, and social media, at any stage during and after the production has concluded. 

CONFIDENTIALITY:

I understand and agree to maintain this confidentiality agreement for anything in relation to the production of Tarzan The Stage Musical, and James Terry Collective PTY LTD. I agree to keep all aspects of the production confidential, not limited to conversations in person or online, contracts or documents, audition information, show materials, or intellectual property. 

EMBARGO:

I understand and agree to the terms of this production under Embargo. In this instance means no statements relating to the production and it's audition notice shall be made available to the public or media (including social media) without written authority from the Producers. Agents are free to discuss with clients, and performers are permitted to discuss with their networks and professional contacts as required. 

INSURANCE:

James Terry Collective PTY LTD holds Public Liability insurance for activities occurring within the auditions, rehearsal space, and theatre, provided such activities fall within the scope of the agreed services. Any activities during the production [including the audition process], performers engage their services at their own risk and therefore take full responsibility for any illnesses, accidents, and injuries that may occur. The signatory releases and indemnifies James Terry Collective PTY LTD from any and all claims, and liabilities. Performers may be requested to obtain and maintain, at their own cost, workers’ compensation insurance (WorkCover or equivalent) appropriate to the services provided for the duration of their involvement.
