    Are you expecting a baby and living in Killinarden or Kiltipper? CDI Home Visiting Programme: Preparing for Life is here for you. Our friendly Home Visitors can call to your home regularly, and provide guidance during pregnancy and throughout early childhood, continuing until your child reaches five years of age. They’ll share ideas, tips, and free resources to help you feel confident as a parent and to give your child the best start in life. This programme is free, and designed to fit around you and your family.

    I am a Professionals and want to refer someone to receive Home Visits
    The Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) is now accepting referrals from professionals for families who may benefit from our CDI Home Visiting Programme: Preparing for Life. The service is available to expectant parents (and their partners) living in Killinarden and Kiltipper, Tallaght.
    Through regular home visits, our Home Visitors provide guidance during pregnancy and throughout early childhood, continuing until the child reaches five years of age. The programme is voluntary and requires the consent of the parent before a referral can be made.

    Referral Criteria - Any mother-to-be (and partner) living in the Killinarden and Kiltipper areas of Tallaght who would like the support offered by our Parent Carer Facilitators through the home visiting programme.
    Preparing For Life Home Visiting primarily works with families from the timepoint of a mothers pregnancy. However, there may be flexibility with this in exceptional circumstances. This will be decided on a case by case basis.

    Guidance on completing the referral form:

    General - Please complete every element of the referral form, clearly indicating if any elements have been left intentionally blank.
    Family Consent - PFL Home Visiting is a voluntary programme. Therefore, we request the mother's consent for the referral to be valid.
