• The Be Your B.E.S.T. Scholarship

    Application Deadline: May 3, 2026
  • With public service comes a platform, and with a platform comes a responsibility—to oneself and others. As a titleholder, you are not only a representative of your community but also a role model tasked with promoting positive change. Maintaining mental and physical health is essential, not just for personal success but for the well-being of those who look up to you.

The Knox family women—Tori, Sky, Brenna, and Deni—stand united under the mission of B.E.S.T. (Brave Early Screening Teens), a family-driven initiative dedicated to promoting mental and physical health. While B.E.S.T. serves as our collective foundation, each of us has taken our path to carry out its message, proving that advocacy can take many forms.

Tori Knox channels this mission through public health, now in her first year at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she is committed to advancing awareness and education in preventive healthcare.

Brenna Knox, having overcome open-heart surgery as a pre-teen due to an Atrial Septal Defect, embodies the B.E.S.T. principles by living a balanced and health-conscious life as a high school student, athlete, and community leader—proving that personal wellness is a form of advocacy.

Sky Knox, Miss Delaware’s Teen 2018, used her platform to amplify B.E.S.T., encouraging young people to take ownership of their health early.

Our mother, Deni Knox, a breast cancer survivor, represents the resilience and strength that B.E.S.T. stands for, advocating for early screenings and proactive healthcare decisions.

Though our paths differ, our purpose remains the same: to champion a commitment to mental and physical well-being, not just for ourselves, but for our communities. Through B.E.S.T., we continue to inspire others to take charge of their health in ways that resonate with their journeys.
