Production Assistant (PA)

Duties:

Assist the director and crew with daily on-set tasks
Help with setup, breakdown, and general logistics
Distribute call sheets, manage talent flow, and handle errands
Ensure set stays organized and on schedule
Perfect for someone who’s adaptable and ready to learn on the go!

Wardrobe/Continuity Assistant

Duties:

Help select and organize costumes for characters
Assist with costume changes and fittings
Track outfit consistency across scenes (continuity)
Maintain wardrobe cleanliness and storage
Great for detail-oriented creatives with a love for fashion and film!

Set Designer Assistant

Duties:

Help dress and organize each set to match the script's vision
Assist with prop placement and scene transitions
Maintain visual continuity from scene to scene
Source or create low-budget props and set materials
Ideal for artists, interior design lovers, or DIY enthusiasts!

BTS (Behind-the-Scenes) Assistant

Duties:

Capture behind-the-scenes photos and video footage
Document cast and crew in action for marketing/social media
Assist with social content creation (Reels, Stories, etc.)
Organize media and send to production team after each shoot
Great for photographers, content creators, and social media-savvy individuals!

Gaffer (Lighting Assistant)

Duties:

Help set up and adjust lighting equipment per the cinematographer’s vision
Ensure proper power supply and safety for all lighting setups
Work closely with DP for scene-specific moods and tones
Break down and store lighting gear after each shoot
Perfect for anyone interested in cinematography or lighting design!

Boom Operator

Duties:

Operate the boom mic and ensure clean audio capture
Monitor mic placement to avoid shadows and noise
Assist the sound team with equipment setup and breakdown
Be mindful of frame lines and audio levels throughout scenes
Great role for those who want hands-on sound department experience!

2nd Assistant Camera (2nd AC)

Duties:

Manage slating and camera logs for each take
Assist with lens changes, batteries, and memory cards
Keep camera gear organized and support the Director of Photography
Help ensure smooth camera operation during production
Best for tech-savvy, organized individuals interested in cinematography!

This is a student-led, non-paid film project scheduled to begin production tthroughout June 2026 (each Saturday and Sunday up to six hours per day. Some days may be SHORT) in Tyler, TX. All crew positions listed are strictly volunteer-based.

However, by joining this project, you will receive:

IMDb credit for your role
Free meals provided (Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks) during shooting days
