  • 12. Release of Liability Agreement – Sanchez Solutions

     

    By signing below, I (the customer) hereby authorize Sanchez Solutions, a mobile technology repair service, to perform diagnostic evaluation and/or repair work on my electronic device(s), including but not limited to smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles.

    I understand that:

    1. Repairs may involve disassembly and reassembly of delicate components, and while all precautions are taken, there is inherent risk of damage or data loss.
    2. Sanchez Solutions will not be held liable for any loss of data, damage to internal or external components, or issues resulting from manufacturer defects, prior damage, or previously attempted repairs.
    3. Devices will be tested before and after service, and documentation will be provided regarding any issues found.
    4. I am responsible for backing up my data. Sanchez Solutions does not guarantee the preservation of data during repair.
    5. Repair timelines may vary based on part availability and issue complexity.
    6. I agree to pay the non-refundable diagnostic fee as listed in the intake form, including additional surcharges for extended travel beyond the city of Exeter, CA. All remaining repair charges will be discussed and approved prior to completion.

    In accordance with California Civil Code §1542, I waive any and all claims, known or unknown, related to the services provided.

    California Civil Code §1542 Waiver:

    “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”

  • 13. Supplemental Risk Waiver

    Water-Damaged & Previously Repaired Devices

    Due to the unstable nature of devices that have previously undergone third-party repairs or have sustained water or liquid damage, I understand and agree that:

    • Repairs performed on these devices are not guaranteed to be successful.
    • These repairs are considered “50/50” attempts, meaning the success rate cannot be predicted and devices may become further damaged or non-functional during diagnosis or repair, despite all reasonable precautions.
    • No warranties, explicit or implied, are provided for parts or labor related to previously repaired or water-damaged devices.
    • I am aware that water corrosion and prior repair attempts can worsen during disassembly, potentially rendering the device beyond repair or uneconomical to restore.
