Junior MusicGirls Camp
June 4-6, 2025
for girls ages 6 to 9

2025 Jr MusicGirls Camp is 3 half days. Please be sure your MusicGirl can attend all 3 days. Camp is from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Lunch is not included.

The Junior MusicGirl program is designed to give girls 6-9 an exploratory experience into the joy of making music a part of their lives. The focus is on having fun with music-related activites. Activities may include piano, dulcimer, ukulele, cello and singing.

Instruments will be provided by the camp, however if a girl has an instrument she may bring it.

There is no fee for girls attending the camp. A snack will be provided.

The camp is for girls with no prior music training and also for girls who already have experience playing any kind of music. Instruction will be "by ear" and ability to read music is not required.

By attending camp, your daughter becomes a MusicGirl!

Additional MusicGirls activities take place throughout the year. You will be notified by email of upcoming MusicGirls activities. Sandy's MusicGirls provides a support system to help girls grow musically and develop creativity and self-esteem.

MusicGirls are encouraged to invite friends who may be interested in getting involved in Sandy's MusicGirls. Registrations close May 14, 2025 or when camp is full.

I understand that there are risks associated with camp activities. I acknowledge these risks and give my child permission to participate. I understand that Sandy's MusicGirls and the Lake Wales Arts Council, or their staff and volunteers, are not liable for any injuries, illness or other occurrences during camp activities.

Covid 19: I understand that the COVID virus may be present at camp, and the possibility exists that my daughter could contract Covid at camp, and I agree to not hold Sandy's MusicGirls or Lake Wales Arts Council responsible.

I agree that my daughter will adhere to camp policies intended to prevent the spread of Covid if they are implemented. Because conditions may change, we will let you know if we need to implement preventative measures prior to the start of camp.

June 4-6: Sign in and registration starts at 8:40 am. Parents are asked to pick up their Junior MusicGirl at 12:00 noon.
