    PRactice Manager Application

  • ⚠️ A Heads Up

This Application Isn’t Typical (On Purpose)
  • We know this isn’t your average job application—it’s longer, deeper, and probably more time-intensive than what you’re used to. That’s intentional.

Why? Because we’re not just trying to fill a seat. We’re trying to find the right person—someone who thinks like a leader, acts like an owner, and genuinely wants to grow with our team.

This application is designed to save both of us time down the road by surfacing alignment (or misalignment) early. If we’re a match, you’ll know it. And if we’re not—you’ll know that too.

So take your time, be honest, and show us how you think. We’re not looking for perfect—we’re looking for real.

  • The Hard Stuff

  • Scenario 1: Not MY Job: The Printer Problem

Instructions for the Applicant:Read the following scenario carefully. After reading, answer the open-ended questions that follow. There are no right or wrong answers, but we are looking for how you think, prioritize, and approach operational challenges.
  • Scenario: Last December, a practice manager informed the owner that one of the office locations needed a laser printer. The owner approved the purchase and had it delivered. Months later, the owner noticed a charge for over $200 in printer ink, but upon visiting the location, discovered that the new laser printer was still in its box and had never been set up.

  • Scenario 2: Not MY Money: The Revenue Black Hole

In this scenario, we’re evaluating how you approach accountability, financial systems, and performance tracking. Show us your problem-solving mindset and systems thinking.
  • Scenario Description
Recently, it was discovered that over $65,000 in patient collections—including copays, no-show, and late cancel fees—had not been collected. This had gone unnoticed for months, despite a pretty robust administrative team answering calls, handling scheduling, and overall operations. No one was regularly following up on revenue. Additionally, the most financially lucrative appointments (testing appointments) were not being tracked to ensure they met scheduled benchmarks.
