2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of European General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO) based on Art.6 1(a) DSGVO (consent to processing for a defined purpose). We process your data for the decision on the justification of a participation of the students team.
3. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA
We only process data related to your application. This may include general personal data (name, contact details), information on your professional qualifications and school education, information on further professional training and, if applicable, other data that you provide to us in connection with your application.
We will ask you about the following information:
· First Name
· Last Name
· Email Address
· Your field of study
· Type of study (BA, MA, PhD)
· How did you hear about DASH?
· Your CV (include only information relevant to the group; no need to include your private address, phone number etc.)
· Optional: Other testimonials (e.g. past projects, certificates, etc.)
4. SOURCES OF THE DATA
We process personal data that you submitt via this Jotform application form.
5. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA
We process your personal data within the team exclusively with the people who need this data to decide upon your application. We will not transfer your personal data to other institutions within TUM or companies.
6. TRANSFER TO A THIRD COUNTRY
Your data is requested and stored using Jotform. Please check the terms of use, privacy policy and security information of Jotform to get more information where the data is stored.
7. DURATION OF DATA STORAGE
We store your personal data as long as this is necessary for the decision on your application. Your personal data or application documents will be deleted a maximum of six months after the end of the application process (e.g. notification of the rejection decision or acceptance).
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Every person has the right to information according to Art. 15 DSGVO, the right to rectification according to Art. 16 DSGVO, the right to erasure according to Art. 17 DSGVO, the right to Restriction of processing according to Art. 18 DSGVO, the right to notification according to Art. 19 DSGVO as well as the right to data portability according to Art. 20 DSGVO. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data is not carried out lawfully. The right of appeal exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. If the processing of data is based on your consent, you are entitled under Art. 7 DSGVO, you are entitled to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Please note that the revocation is only effective for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected.
