    Cedar Doodles Purchase Agreement & Health Guarantee | Teddybear Goldendoodle Puppy Pricing $3500
  • This Contract is between the Buyer as listed above and Seller Cedar Doodles

    All puppies come with a one year genetic guarantee, with the option to extend.  To extend the guarantee to two years, the buyer must provide the puppy with NuVet supplements, ensuring optimal nutritional support. To qualify, the buyer must retain proof of continuous use (receipts showing no lapse in supplementation).

     

    Buyer Responsibilites 

    Vet Examination The buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession. Failure to comply voids the health guarantee.
    Spay/Neuter Agreement The puppy must be spayed or neutered by 12 months of age, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Buyer is responsible for any legal or administrative fees if this clause must be enforced.Breeding rights are available for an additional fee. Please consult Cedar Doodles directly for information.
    Non Refundable Deposit  A deposit is required to reserve your puppy. This deposit is applied to the final purchase price and is non-refundable if the buyer cancels. However, it may be transferred to a future litter for up to one year from the original date.
    Vaccination Safety Until fully vaccinated, puppies are not permitted in public areas, including dog parks, training centers, or pet stores.
    Delivery & Travel Expenses Cedar Doodles offers delivery via flight nanny or ground transport. All delivery costs are the buyer’s responsibility and must be paid in full before the puppy is released.
    Refunds & Rehoming Once a puppy is selected, no refunds will be given if the buyer backs out or can no longer keep the puppy.Buyers may not surrender the puppy to a shelter, rescue, pound, or pet store.
    If rehoming becomes necessary, contact Cedar Doodles. We will gladly take the puppy back, but no refund will be issued, and the buyer forfeits all rights to the dog.
    Proper Care & Environment A nutritious, well-balanced diet- We recommend Pawtree, Diamond Naturals Or Science Diet
    Regular veterinary care
    Safe and clean living conditions
    Appropriate exercise
    The health guarantee becomes void in cases of neglect, poor diet, abuse, or injury
    Temperament & Training Commitment
    While Cedar Doodles provides early socialization and basic exposure, long-term temperament depends on the buyer’s training and care. The buyer agrees to provide structure, socialization, and positive reinforcement-based training.
       
    Hereditary Illness Notification* If a testable, inherited, life-threatening condition is diagnosed before 12 months of age, notify Cedar Doodles within 5 days and provide a licensed veterinarian’s written diagnosis and prognosis.

     

     

     Seller Responsiblities

     Sold in Good Health   Puppy is sold in as is condition, in good health with no life threatening illness/defects
     Age appropriate Vaccines/ Deworming Puppy has received age appropriate Nobivac Vaccine while in sellers care. They have also recieved age appropriate wormers. 
     Vet Health Check  Puppy has been examined by licensed vet prior to leaving sellers care- and has been deemed in good health. Puppy will come with vet health certificate
     Puppy Curriculum  Puppy has been on a curriculum that covers natural instincts to assist in potty training success. These include potty pad training, litterbox training, and intro to crate training. 
    Training Program  We include a training program with each of our puppies to help you prepare for your puppy, to make the transition easy. Once deposit has been made we will send the link with the login info.
    Genetic Testing  All parents have recieved genetic testing prior to being considered for our program, to ensure they are the highest standards of health .

     If in the event of a hereditary illness, buyer will notify seller: 

    • Remedy
      In the event of a suspected hereditary illness, the buyer must notify the seller within 5 days of diagnosis and provide an official written report from a licensed veterinarian, including prognosis and supporting documentation. 
    • If the condition qualifies under the health guarantee and all buyer responsibilities have been fulfilled, the buyer will be entitled to a replacement puppy of comparable quality. The buyer will be responsible for any shipping fees and any price difference if selecting a puppy of higher value. Coverages and exclusions are listed below
    • The seller reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion. In the event of the puppy’s death, remains must be preserved and returned for a necropsy. Failure to comply will void eligibility for a replacement puppy.

     


     Acknowledgment & Signatures
    By signing below, both parties acknowledge they have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. The buyer also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cedar Doodles from any third-party claims relating to the puppy.

  • Consequence for Breach of Spay/ Neuter Agreement:
    Failure to comply with this agreement will result in the immediate voiding of all health guarantees and may subject Buyer to legal action and/or a fee of $3500/puppy produced for breach of contract.

     

    If buyer fails to fully vaccinated puppy health guarantee is null and void.

    Coverages and Exclusions Definitions:

    Coverages

    A congenital defect is defined as:

    • A congenital life-threatening puppy defect refers to a severe and often fatal health issue or abnormality that is present in a puppy from birth and is inherited or developed during gestation. These defects can affect various systems in the body, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or other vital organs. Life-threatening congenital defects typically have a significant impact on the overall health and well-being of the puppy and may significantly reduce its chances of survival.

     Exclusions:

    • Hernias, Ingestion of foreign objects, Cancer, Anxiety, Stress, age related health problems, cosmetic issues, viral illness, infection, stress related infection, endocrine disorders, grade 1 or 2 patella, hypoglycemia or allergies, or parasites, underbite/overbite* This health guarantee covers any testable, inherited, life-threatening conditions, including structural heart defects diagnosed by a licensed veterinary cardiologist. Innocent or mild murmurs that resolve with age or are non-hereditary are not covered.”
    • Parasites* (Coccidia, Giardia, Tapeworm, External parasites) ,Parasites are a normal part of puppy ownership. Your puppy is in our care and kept on a strict worming protocol since birth. They are given appropriate wormers every 2 weeks til they leave our care. Worms can lie dormant in the gut and easily come out when the puppy experiences stress, despite being on a worming protocol. This includes the stress of changing homes. Buyer is responsible for parasite treatment
    • Underbite/Overbite*In addition to genetic testing our dogs, we also ensure that all dogs have excellent conformation along with scissor bites. In rare cases we will have a puppy that has an underbite or overbite. If there is misalignment: Puppy is ineligible for breeding rights, and buyer will be notified of puppies misalignment prior to picking puppy. Buyer has the option of choosing a different puppy. If buyer chooses to take a puppy with an underbite/overbite, they are accepting the puppy in as in condition. We are not responbile for treatment of the underbite or overbite, as it is a cosmetic condition. We have ensured the puppy is able to have normal activities of daily living prior to marking them as available.You have the right to refuse a puppy with an underbite. 

    *If in the event of a life threatening genetic defect, the buyer must contact the seller prior to treatments or surgery for said defects, to review all possible treatments. In the event of such defect detected by two unassociated veterinarians, the buyer shall be entitled to another puppy from a breeding that is acceptable to both buyer and seller.
    If puppy is disposed of prior to contacting breeder (seller) this contract is void.
    Buyer will need to review with seller prior to making a decision in event of congential defect
