ASPMN® Application to Declare Candidacy for Board of Directors/Nominating Committee Form

The ASPMN Nominating Committee is conducting the Call for Candidates for the 2026-2028 Board of Directors/Nominating Committee slate. Each of the following seven elected positions are available, with terms beginning October 2026 Treasurer (1), Board of Directors (BOD) (4), and Nominating Committee Members (2).

We encourage you to declare your intent to run for office in the upcoming ASPMN election by completing this form. All nominations MUST BE RECEIVED BY April 16, 11:59PM ET. , to be considered for the slate of candidates.

Treasurer (1) -- (One available position)

Role: Serves a two-year term and assumes responsibility for the fnancial afairs of the Society. The treasurer presents written reports of the fnancial status of the Society at meetings of the Board for Directors and at the Annual Business Meeting and performs other such duties as prescribed by the Board of Directors.

Qualifcations: The Treasurer shall have been a member of ASPMN for fve years and have served on the Board of Directors for one-term or have demonstrated strong leadership skills as a member of a task force, and ASPMN Committee, or as an oficer of a Chapter.

Director (4) -- (Four available positions)

Responsibilities: BOD positions are two-year terms. Board members work together closely to conduct the business of the Society.

Qualifications: Directors of the Board must have been a member of ASPMN for a minimum of three years. and demonstrate strong leadership skills as a member of an ASPMN Committee, Task Force, or as a Chapter officer.

Nominating Committee (2) -- (Two available positions)

Responsibilities: Nominating Committee members serve a two-year term. Elected members prepare a slate of candidates for annual elections. ASPMN’s Immediate Past President serves as the Committee Chair and guides Committee activities.

Qualifications: Nominating Committee Members must be a member of ASPMN.
