In the interest of great communication, we ask all advisory teams to confirm procedures for working together. Please read the following guidelines carefully. It is expected that this form will be filled out by all students and TT advisors before you begin advisory meetings.

I agree to the following:

I have had an intro meeting and/or written exchange with the student, and we agree to work together for the following year according to the expectations set by TT.
We will meet monthly, excluding TT breaks—April, August, December. Meetings can be held in any configuration after an initial meeting with the full team—to be determined with student.
We will agree on regular monthly meeting times. All meetings will take place at a reasonable timezone for all participants.
If I cannot attend a meeting, I will give 24 hours cancellation notice to the entire team and reschedule right away, except in case of emergency.
I will reply to emails within 10 days—even if it is only to say the message has been received and a fuller response is coming on ___. This way, no one is worried or rushed.
I recognize that under the TT Leave of Absence policy, students can pause their research and advisory meetings at their discretion for up to 12 months during the course of their study. The student will email laurie@tt-sf.org of term or year.
Students: I will complete all expected milestones and TT requirements and keep up to date on my degree progress.
TT Advisors: I will stay up-to-date on my advisee's Creative Research Journal and communicate actively about their progress.
If there are communication issues or other concerns among my team, I will proactively reach out to chella@tt-sf.org.
