The Defender-SB is an optimized 73.72"L with the tailgate up, optimized for short box pick-up trucks. 

The Defender-LB-XL (Long Box) features a transverse toolbox and is an optimized 96.72"L with the tailgate up, optimized for long box pick-up trucks.

The Defender-LB-FX (Long Box + Fuel Cell) features a transverse toolbox with a 225L Fuel Tank beneath it (Fuel pump stored in road side of transverse toolbox; sold separately) and is an optimized 96.72"L with the tailgate up, optimized for long box pick-up trucks.

Installs: Typical installation duration is 5 hours. Please remove all debris, tools, ice/mud, etc. from your pick-up bed before dropping your truck off with Rival.

Pick-ups: Rival will prepare the Eagle Scout for transportation; customer to come or send someone on their behalf to come pick-up the unit. Rival does have forklift on-site to load during business hours.

Shipped out: We will price this out with you toward completion of your deck because shipping quotes are only usually valid for maximum of 30 days. We will try to provide you a shipping estimation based on previous values. We can ship to anywhere in Canada or U.S.

I (Square): The standard square box profile, 90-degree corners.

II (Tapered): These sleek boxes feature a balanced, averaged out 20-degree departure that compliments all pick-up cabs well. This is the same taper used on our Avenger skids, and the most popular for shoulderbox assemblies.

III (Delayed Taper): Introduced in 2019 with our Defender welding skid, this profile maintains the straight face longer before beginning the taper. This offers significantly more storage space in the lower portion of each cabinet, and, enables add-ons such as Drawers without space compromise. Intended to provide the best of both worlds, the III is our latest innovation in shoulderboxes.

Determining what's best for you: 

Drawer Assemblies and Units are ideal for their one-piece simple drop in installation. If we are shipping out to you or simple install is your preference, Drawer assemblies are the way to go. However, because the entire assembly must fit through the clearance of a cabinet doorway, drawer width is typically slightly lower than the Drawer Extrusion configuration (dependant on cabinet design).

Drawer Components are ideal for installations being completed at our shop, or for individuals who dont mind a bit of self-assembly and install. Because you can install the extrusions to the side wall, you can usually get slightly wider drawers with Drawer Extrusion set-up's but the installation/assembly required is significantly more than a Drawer Unit. Only typically recommended when the final installation/work is being completed at our shop.

Typical "Full Sheet" sizes for steel and millplate sheets are: 4' x 8', 5' x 8', 5' x 10', 5' x 12', and 6' x 10'

Typical "Full Sheet" sizes of checkerplate are 5' x 16'

Typical "Full Length's" of extrusion are: 12', 16', 20', or 24' (20' being the most common by far)

Material being cut to less than Full Sheet/Full Length will receive (A) Bracket pricing (Typical) and incurr cutting fee(s) to be determined based on order.

Material being fabricated as part of a custom job (bending, welding, etc.) will receive (B) Bracket pricing (Discounted) while the labor will be accounted for as part of the custom job.

Material being sold as Full Length's or Full Sheet's will receive (C) Bracket pricing (Bulk/Wholesale Pricing); our deepest discount available.
