    JAYPN General Members Requirements
    To maintain your status as an active member, you must participate in two of the following per semester (Fall semester- August 1 – December 31, Spring semester- January 1 – June 30):

    • Attend a JAYPN general meeting
    • Attend a JAYPN social event
    • Volunteer to teach at least one Junior Achievement program
    • Participate in a JAYPN sub-committee
    • Participate in a JAYPN Peer to Peer fundraiser

  • Thank you for your continued dedication and commitment to JA. Additional responsibilities for leaders are listed below. Available roles and descriptions are also included. 

     

    JAYPN Leadership Requirements
    Positions are nominated annually. (Submissions open in May for a fiscal July calendar)

    • Provide advisory and guidance to steer the group towards accomplishing its mission and purpose
    • Attend the JAYPN Leadership meetings
    • Host at least one committee meeting per quarter
    • Attend at least on board committee meeting per quarter
    • be an active ambassadors of Junior Achievement by creating awareness and communicating with their place of employment and potential sponsors

     

     

  • JAYPN Leadership Role Selection

  • New Member Liaison
    • Responsible for the onboarding process of new members and helping them connect to the network and get plugged in.
    Fundraising Chair
    • Oversees the Fundraising Sub-Committee.
    • Responsible for identifying potential donors, supporting JA Miami fundraising events, and managing various fundraising activities.
    • Supports the JA staff in their annual fundraising goals.
    Volunteer Chair
    • Oversees the Volunteer Sub-Committee.
    • Responsible for supporting JA staff with recruiting, retaining, and appreciating volunteers.
    • Works closely with the JA Education team to help fill volunteer needs and improve the overall volunteer experience. 
    Social & Engagement Chair
    • Oversees the Social and Engagement Sub-Committee.
    • Responsible for all engagement opportunities, including networkers, happy hours, recruiting new members, and spreading the word about the JA mission.

  • Membership Fee

    We require an annual $25 membership fee to support our mission and network. This will support Young Professional initiatives throughout the year.
