  • Thank you for considering adoption through Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue! Unfortunately, because there are people in your home that are not in agreement with adopting a dog, then we will not be processing your application at this time. We do hope, that after further discussion with your family, that all will be in agreement with adopting a dog!

  •    Just browsing or not really ready?   

    We suggest waiting to complete the application for when you are ready or know that you would like to adopt, and keeping an eye on our website in the meantime!

    We will gladly hold a completed application for you until we recieve a message that you are ready, but we will not begin processing your application until we receive your message that you are ready to adopt.

    Some humans love running into other humans on their walks, or love when unexpected guests drop by for a chat. But some humans would rather crawl quietly into the other room to avoid having to socialize. Same with dogs! Please tell us about your home and your surroundings!

    Please share with us if you are interested in a specific dog, and what qualities and characteristics you think would be a match for you! Please remember that this is not an order form, but a way for us to get to know what you think would be a GOOD fit in your life. The more open-minded you are, the more adoption possibilities!

Sounds like human enrichment and training exists to make our lives better too! Please tell us about your plans for an adopted dog and what you have done in the past to make sure your 4-legged family members are given a full and enriching life!
