  • City of St. Petersburg — Employee Discount Program Application

Thank you for your interest in offering discounts to City employees. Please complete this form to be considered for inclusion in our Employee Discount Program. With over 3,800+ City Employees, the business's bottom line can be boosted.
  • Trash & Recycling, Transportation, Water Resources, Stormwater, Youth Leaders, and many more. +3,800 individuals keep the City of St. Petersburg running every day. The City of St. Petersburg is always looking for ways to say THANK YOU to our employees for all they do, and we could use your help!

We're asking our beloved established local businesses to offer a discount, free product, or special to City employees. Discounts must be available year round. Submitted discounts must be approved and meet specific criteria. The offer must be an exclusive discount for City of St. Petersburg employees and may not be available to the general public.

The promotion is free advertising for You. With over 3,800+ City Employees, the business's bottom line can be boosted. We hope the discount will be sizable and a great way to "Thank our City Employees" for all they do to make our great city.

*discount/offers require proof of City employment, i.e., City I.D. or paycheck stub. Others may require an application, the use of a membership card with a designated I.D. code, or a coupon with a special offer.

    • Some types of discounts we are hoping to see offered:
    • Percentage-Based Discounts 50% Off

This is one of the most popular and most used types of promotion.

      Free Gifts

Free gifts are a great way to increase sales volume. You can convince people to buy from you if you offer them a free product with minimal spending.

      Buy One, Get One

There are two kinds of offers that we frequently see: "Buy one, get one free," or "Buy one, get a discount for the second one.". The first example, with a free product, works better because you get more out of it. (No Subscription discounts)

      Dollar-Value Discounts

Dollar-value discounts work better when applied to amounts bigger than $50. "Get $10 off when you spend $100" works better than "Spend $100, get 10% off".

      Bundled-Discounts

Instead of selling just one product, you sell packages with more products at a better price. Bundled discounts are helpful because they increase the number of products you sell and encourage people to try different products.
