Students Under the Age of 13 (COPPA) - District Approved Classroom Programs and Services
If you have a student who falls under the COPPA compliance age group (under 13), please review the Duluth Public Schools ISD 709 COPPA Compliance List that is attached on page 7 of this document(see page 7 of the PDF version). This list includes the names of the digital services used for educational purposes in our district along with links to their privacy policies and terms of service. Please review this list as these resources require parent permission for the personal information they may collect. By signing this document you are giving your permission for your child to use these services.
In order for our students to use these programs and services, certain personal identifying information must be provided to the website operator. This information can include, but is not limited to, the student's name, grade, birthday, email address/login, username, and teacher's name. ISD 709 shares minimum information with vendors. Throughout the school year in which this agreement exists, services may be removed from use and taken off the digital version of this form. No additional services will be added without individual parental consent.
