Terms and Conditions – Black Art Matters The Pop Up Host Application (2025)
By submitting this host application to Black Art Matters The Pop Up, LLC (“Black Art Matters The Pop Up”), I (hereafter referred to as “I,” “me,” “my,” or “applicant”) acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Eligibility and Review
I understand that submitting this application does not guarantee selection as a host for Black Art Matters The Pop Up 2025. Applications are reviewed and considered based on internal selection criteria, and decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Black Art Matters The Pop Up team.
No Application Fee
There is no fee to apply as a host. Participation, if selected, is based on alignment with the brand’s mission, energy, and ability to enhance the overall event experience.
Application Accuracy
I confirm that all information submitted is truthful and accurate. I certify that I hold the necessary rights to all content submitted with this application and that doing so does not infringe on the rights of any third party or violate any applicable laws or agreements.
Use of Materials & Likeness
If selected, I grant Black Art Matters The Pop Up the right to use, edit, and share content and media featuring my name, voice, likeness, image, statements, and biographical information for promotional, marketing, and event-related purposes, without additional compensation. This includes materials I submit or media captured during the event.
Communication
I agree to receive email updates regarding the status of my application and further event information. I will add blackartmatters@gmail.com to my contact list to ensure I do not miss any communications.
Modifications & Cancellations
I acknowledge that Black Art Matters The Pop Up reserves the right to alter the format, dates, or locations of the event and/or cancel or suspend participation at any time. In such cases, notice may be posted on the event’s official website, and Black Art Matters The Pop Up shall not be held liable for any resulting changes or cancellations.
Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
I am responsible for safeguarding my own intellectual property. I understand that while Black Art Matters The Pop Up will treat application materials as confidential, submitting content online carries inherent risks.
Legal Agreement
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California and New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Los Angeles County, CA or Kings County, NY.
By submitting this application, I confirm that I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be legally bound by them.
