Independence Day Parade 2025

2025 Theme: "The Spirit of Bath - Celebrating Who We Are!"

Fee: $35 (Pay fee online or send/drop off at Main Street Bath, 15 Commercial St, 04530)

Application Deadline: Sunday, June 18th, 2025.

Judging Categories:
- Most Entertaining Award : Entry that receives the most crowd reaction
- Dedication Award : Best non-profit entry
- Route 66 Award : Best antique car
- Best Overall Award - Unit best depicting parade theme
- American Dream Award - Best small business
- Shining Star Award - Best youth entry
- Let Freedom Ring Award - Best musical entry
- Salute to our Troops Award - Best armed forces entry

Please note that the judges are required to consider how a unit is decorated consistent with the theme. All awards are determined at the discretion of the judges. Awards will be sent in the mail a week following the parade. Winners will be listed on the Main Street Bath website and Facebook page.

Children on floats must be accompanied by an adult. The recommended ration is 1 adult per 5 children under the age of 12.

Children riding in pickup truck beds must be seated at all times, behind rails or sides. Tailgates must be closed.

Animals, including dogs and household pets, must be able to ride part of the route.

If an animal appears distressed, parade volunteers may ask your unit to exit the parade route.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:

By executing this agreement as a participant in the 2025 Bath Heritage Days Independence Day Parade, the undersigned (must be signed by person responsible for the entry) agrees for himself, herself, itself and its (their successors), heirs and assigns that participation in the Bath Independence Day Parade, as described herein, shall be at the risk of the undersigned, and that the undersigned hereby releases and forever discharges and expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Main Street Bath, the Heritage Days Festival, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and members of either organization, together with their successors and assigns of and from all debts, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, dues, sum and sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, specialties, contracts, covenants, controversies, agreements, promises, doings, omissions, variances, extents, execution and liabilities whatsoever including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, claims for contribution, exoneration or indemnity, or any other thing whatsoever which might arise from the undersigned’s participation in Bath Heritage Days.
