What does KPYE stand for?
KPYE stands for Klamath Project Youth Empowerment. We're a youth substance use prevention and treatment program based right here in Klamath Falls!
Will food be provided?
Yes! Snacks and water will be provided during the tournament. We will also be providing lunch for all participants at 2:30.
What time will the tournament end?
The final game will start at 2:10 and the tournament will be ending at 2:30. Parents are welcome to get lunch provided all of the participants have had lunch already.
Who is allowed to register?
Any youth ages 14-17 on the day of the tournament.
Why are there Anti-Tobacco Speakers?
This tournament will be funded through a grant provided by Klamath County Public Health. The aim of this grant is to tackle tobacco use among youth in Klamath County. Our approach is to create more spaces youth can exist where tobacco is not only prohibited, but actively discouraged.
Who is putting this tournament on?
This tournament is brought to you by Klamath Project Youth Empowerment, LCS and the Klamath Falls YMCA.
Is supervision required?
Parents are welcome to attend the event for the entire day, but supervision is not required
