About the Art Shuffle

The Art Shuffle is a free, self-directed neighbourhood art walk held on one of the longest evenings of the year. In 2025 it falls on Friday, June 20th and runs from 4:00 – 9:00 PM in Port Moody’s Old Town Centre, Rocky Point and Brewery Row areas. There are 24 indoor and outdoor venues hosting visual, literary and performing artists, artisans and community groups, along with art activities and demonstrations. The venues include artist studios, galleries, museums and small businesses supporting the arts.

Stanzas in the Streets is being presented in partnership with TriCities Poetry. Selected poems will be displayed along the art walk route for everyone to see, read and love. 

What you need to know: 

• Selected poems will be printed and publicly displayed throughout the Art Shuffle route.
• Poets must be 18+ to submit
• Content must be suitable for an all ages event. 
• Poems should be short, less than 100 words. 

What we need: 

• Your name and contact information
• A short biography (max 100 words)
• Your poem (max 100 words)

How your information will be used:

• The information submitted to Art Shuffle will be used to promote the participating artists and the event.  
• By submitting, you are granting permission to the Art Shuffle to use display your poem and your biography publicly and for promoting the event.
• Some of the artist information on this form will be used on the Art Shuffle website, Map and/or social media channels to promote the event and the participating artists, poets or community arts groups.
• Poet's name, biography and social media channels may be included our website or social media channels or online event listings and promotions.
  
  

Promotional Support:

• The Art Shuffle promotes the art walk on it's website and social media channels, as well as in local media, online calendars and event sites. It also provides promotional materials and marketing support for artists and venues. This includes digital materials for you to use on your social media and websites, printed art walk maps and posters.
