Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the undersigned, understand that participation in the Tails and Trails Rescue Charity Benefit Ride ("Event") involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious injury, property damage, or death. These risks may arise from roadway conditions, weather, other riders/drivers, mechanical failure of my motorcycle/vehicle, my own actions, or the actions of others. I acknowledge that motorcycle riding is a dangerous activity and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Tails and Trails Rescue, its officers, directors, volunteers, employees, sponsors, agents, or event organizers (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for any injury, loss, damage, or death resulting from my participation in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during the Event.
Participant Certifications
I certify the following:
Physical and Mental Fitness: I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the Event and have no known conditions that would impair my ability to operate a motorcycle/vehicle safely.
Sobriety: I am/will not be under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any substances that may impair my judgment or ability to ride/drive, and I will not operate my motorcycle/vehicle under such influence during the Event.
Insurance: I have adequate insurance to cover medical claims, my motorcycle/vehicle, and any damage or liability for which I may be responsible during the Event.
Vehicle Condition: My motorcycle/vehicle is in safe and legal operating condition
Compliance with Laws and Rules: I will comply with all traffic laws, event rules, and instructions provided by event coordinators. I will wear appropriate safety gear at all times during the Event.
