Welcome Athlete and/or Parents/Guardians!

The Quantum Track Club (QTC) would like to welcome you and your child/children aboard as member(s) of the team.

Quantum Track Club was founded on May 18, 1997, by our youth athletes while participating at the 15th Annual Reginald Johnson Memorial Track & Field meet. QTC was organized for the sole purpose of helping youth athletes ages 6 - 18 years old, and advanced athlete(s), who have an interest in the sport of track & field.

QTC is a non-profit organization; therefore registration fees, entry fees and the purchase of uniforms are to be paid by the athlete or parent/guardian(s) of their child/children. This also includes hotel expenses, when necessary. When available, donations and fundraising events will be used for incurred club expenses.

1.  All athletes must have a physical check-up prior to joining the club.
2. Upon becoming a member of the Quantum Track Club, all athletes will become a member of Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and U.S.A Track & Field (USATF). These organizations are the cornerstone of the track & field sport and is a requirement. All AAU/USATF members are insured and covered for liabilities that may arise while traveling to and from AAU/USATF track meets, while participating at AAU/USATF track meets and while practicing with QTC.
3. Each QTC member must furnish a copy of the birth certificate of each child/children. A copy of birth certificate can be submitted directly to Coach Chris.

• New QTC Athletes - $220.00 (includes AAU/USATF membership)
• Returning QTC Atheles - $110.00 

COST OF ITEMS (as of 05/01/2025)

• Uniform & Joggers Set / Backpack - $110.00
• Backpack - $35.00
• Uniform Set - $50.00
• Jogger Set - $60.00

QTC MEMBER/PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Membership Fee

3. Entry Fees for each track meet
4. Travel expenses for each track meet (transportation/hotel, etc.)

Once again, welcome aboard as a Quantum Track Club athlete. To make this track & field season a plesant memory and an even greater learning experience, your adherence to the following code of conduct is necessary/required. Failure to comply, may result in removal from Quantum Track Club. If removed, any and all fee(s) paid are non-refundable. 

1. All athletes are expected to display their best behavior at all times. Misconduct at practice and competitions will not be tolerated.
2. All athletes are expected to display good sportsmanship to their fellow team members and competitors.
3. Any athlete who uses physical violence, profanity, or abusive language towards another athlete or a parent will immediately be expelled.
4. All athletes are urged to show up for practice. Failure to do so will result in poor performance during competition.

I, the athlete (or parent/guardian of the athlete), as a member of Quantum Track Club (QTC), acknowledge that commitment to the club involves a voluntary program of strenous physical activity to enhance my abilities for future performance. I hereby affirm to Quantum Track Club that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any condition that would prevent or limit my participation in this particulat sport.

In consideration of my membership, I, the athlete (or parent/guardian of the athlete), hereby fully release and forever discharge Quantum Track Club and its Officers/Coaches from any and all causes of action, liability, damages, claims, injuries; and suits, judgements, demands, promises, costs or expenses, including attorney's fees, now or in the future, arising from or suffered in connection with membership with Quantum Track Club. 

I hereby affirm that I have read and fully understand and accept all provisions of this Waiver of Liability & Informed Consent form.
