• 3rd Annual Juneteenth Parade Application

  • Parade Participation Waiver and Release

    In consideration of being accepted as a participant in the Community MPACT Parade, we irrevocably grant Community MPACT the right to use our name, likeness, photographs, and any recordings or reproductions of our performance in any media format, for purposes including but not limited to promotion, advertising, and publicity. We further release Community MPACT and its agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages—present or future—arising from such use.

    Additionally, we understand and accept the inherent risks associated with participation in the Parade. On behalf of ourselves and our heirs, we hereby release and hold harmless Community MPACT and its agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses—including personal injury, property damage, or theft—that may occur before, during, or after the event, regardless of cause. This release also extends to the sponsors, promoters, and all other individuals or entities involved with the event.

    Registration Deadline: Wednesday, June 11, 2025


    Entries must be postmarked or submitted by this date to be considered for judging and award eligibility.
    Late entries may still participate in the Parade but will not be judged or qualify for awards.

  • Parade Rules, Guidelines, & Information

    1. Check in by 9:00 AM at the Anderson County Courthouse, corner of Crawford & Church. 
    2. Parade participants are NOT allowed to throw candy or other materials from the entries before, during, or after the parade. Candy or other materials may be handed out by those walking with the entry.
    3. All participants must sign the waiver and return the application (online or in person).
    4. All motorized vehicles used in the parade must provide proof of current insurance coverage. (upload insurance documents below)
    5. All entries should be decorated or have some entertainment value.
    6. To be eligible for judging, entries must be received by June 11, 2025.
    7. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for Best Overall. Entries will be judged on theme, originality, and presentation. Winners will be announced on Facebook by 6:00 PM on June 16, 2025.

  • All horses or equine participants must have a current negative Coggins test, as required by Texas law. A copy must be submitted with your registration, and you are required to have a copy available for inspection on the day of the parade.
