Registered Nurse Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
Administer medications, IV infusions, and perform venipuncture as needed.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks).
Assist in pediatric care, including experience with neonatal ventilators when applicable.
Participate in hospice palliative medicine initiatives to enhance quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.
Experience
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Experience working with children in a clinical setting is preferred.
Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) certification.
Familiarity with IV insertion techniques and IV infusion protocols.
Previous experience in pediatrics or related fields is highly desirable.
Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine practices is a plus.
