    Responsibilities

    • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
    • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
    • Provide support for patients with dementia and other behavioral health needs.
    • Assist in the mobility of patients by lifting or transferring them safely.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
    • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Engage in patient education by teaching them about their health conditions and care needs.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in critical care and long-term care settings.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a nursing assistant training program is preferred.
    • Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a must.
    • Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology.
    • Experience in critical care, ICU settings, or long-term care facilities is a plus.
    • Familiarity with systems used in healthcare settings for patient management.
    • Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility needs.
    • Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Travel between client homes to administer prescribed medications per state guidelines and care plans.

    Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, and timely reporting of medication-related concerns.

    Experience

    Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) certification.

    Familiarity with IV insertion techniques and IV infusion protocols.

    Previous experience in pediatrics or related fields is highly desirable.

    Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine practices is a plus.

    The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides non-medical, in-home support services that ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of clients. The PCA assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) and light housekeeping tasks while promoting the client’s independence and dignity in accordance with individualized care plans.


    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
    • Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and bed-making.
    • Prepare and assist with meals and feeding as needed.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support.

       

    • Report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or manager.
