NPL Local Legends II

AM Session is for beginners if you have dots less then 400.

PM Session is for Experinced Lifters. If you have a DOT of 400 or greater. There is a $250 Prize for Best Men and Women Sleeves in Tested and Non-tested. More prizes to come as we get sponsors. 

This event will be held within the Ambition Gym, and spectators will need to purchase a ticket to enter the event (lifters will not).

Sanction: National Powerlifting League 

DRUG TESTING(in entered): 
Drug testing by urinalysis.All best lifters, not to exceed 10% of the lifters. The remaining 10% are selected by the meet director's choice.  

 

Eligibility: Eligibility: Any male or female 13 years or older. Lifters must be current NPL members. Good for one year from date of purchase. Must purchase online before the contest. 

This is a tested/ non-tested meet. State and National records can be set.

 

Divisions: Open, Junior 13-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-23, Sub-master 35-39, Master 40-44, 45-49, etc

Weight Classes: Men: 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, 275, 308, 308+ (SHW)

Women: 97, 105, 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, 242+ (SHW)

Rules: One-piece singlet must be worn, as a minimum, for all lifters, and a jockstrap. No compression shorts or spandex allowed.

Sleeves division: requires a one-piece singlet, and allows 4 inch wide buckle or lever belt (No velcro belts or padding on the inside of the belt), wristwraps can be up to 1 meter, and single layer kneesleeves. Over the calf long socks required for the deadlift for all lifters.

Wraps Division: Is Sleeves except it allows up to 3 meter kneewraps for the squat.

Single Ply rules: Single-Ply squat, bench, and deadlift suits only! No velcro straps on the squat/deadlift suit. Velcro is allowed on the bench shirt, but must close the back completely- no open back shirts. No velcro straps allowed on squat or deadlift suit. No support briefs allowed in single ply.

Multi Ply rules: Multi-Ply division allows multi-ply squat, bench shirts and deadlift suits along with open back shirts and Velcro straps for the DL suit.

 A 30kg bar and collar set will be used for all squat and a 25kg bar and collar set will be used for bench and deadlift. Texas Bars will be brand used. 

Schedule:

Early Weigh-in/Gear Check - Friday 10/10 9:00AM-11:00AM evening early weigh-ins will be 4:00PM-6:00PM at the meet venue

Rules Briefing/Warm Ups: Saturday, 8AM

Lifting Begins: Saturday, 9AM

 

Awards:

Open: 1st - 3rd place in each weight class
Junior 13-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-23: 1st - 3rd place in each weight class/age group
Submaster 35-39: 1st - 3rd place in each weight class/age group
Master 40-44, 45-49, etc.: 1st - 3rd place in each weight class/age group

Best Lifter: Any Division with 5+ lifters will receive an award.

 

Entry Fee: $150 per lifter includes t-shirt, $10 drug test, add $45 if entering additional division (Open + JR = 2 awards)

 

Payment: Payment of entry fees will be done via PayPal. You will be redirected to PayPal to submit your entry after completing your registration details. Entries will not be considered final until your payment has been received.

Drug Tests (if selected)

I understand I maybe drug tested during this event. I understand that if selected and I refuse or cannot provide a sample it will be considered as a failed drug test. If I am under 18 ages old on the meet date, I will have a parent or guardian present at the time of the drug test (end of meet or session). 

FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE(UNDER AGE 18 AT TIME OF REGISTRATION) This is to certify that I, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of all the Releases, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releases from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES,to the fullest extent permitted by law.
